Korea

Shinsegae have opened their new Reed Family Linens concession area in their Pusan department store this Spring. Their autumn range includes our successful Montacute design in white and pastel colourways.

Dubai

We launched our new range of Easi-Dry towels and robes with great success. Our plans to open a Reed Family Linens concession store in Dubai in February 2010 are now well advanced.

South Africa

Our co-operation project with Khumbulani and the Kwa Zulu Natal Government is now moving to the training stage, and another twenty embroideresses will be joining the group this autumn.

50th Anniversay

31st January 2009 marked fifty years since Peter Moorby Reed founded his own sheet weaving business out of the closure of John Moorby & Sons Limited. It was not until early June 1959 that the Harrods linen buyer suggested that branding the company’s luxury linens with the family’s unique coat of arms would help distinguish the quality of the product from other imported textiles – and so our brand was born and has quietly become known worldwide from those humble beginnings.
