Reed Family Linens is proud of our continued service of supplying linen to the luxurious Hotel Eden situated in the historic centre of Rome close to the Holy Vatican City. Set behind the Villa Medici and within a coin’s throw of the Spanish Steps, the hotel is at a crossroad of the cultural world where guests can lay their head on Reed Famiy Linen and enjoy sleep like the emperors of Rome. |
The association between Reed Family Linens and The Conran Shops dates back to the opening of their first store at Brompton Cross in Fulham, London in 1987. Since then our bed linen products have been sold through Conran Shops in Paris, Hamburg, Tokyo and more recently New York. Conran’s US store is nestled under the Manhattan side of the 59th Street bridge and stocks our Four Row Cord ‘bed in a box’ range aswell as our embroidered Dots design. |
Since our family company was represented at the Empire Exhibition at Wembley, London in 1924, we have continued to sell fine fabrics and textiles to the old colonies of the British Empire, including Australia. As founder suppliers of grey sheeting cloths to Welshman David Jones’s store in Sydney in the 1930’s, the Reed family is proud to be in discussions with them again regarding supplying their “Manchester” department. |
Alice Nutter is infamous for being the last gentlewoman to be hanged for witchcraft at Lancaster Castle in 1612. Mark Reed’s maternal grandmother, Annie Ellison nee Nutter, was a direct descendant of Alice who was one of the Lancashire Pendle Hill Witches, and we remember her death every year at this time of Halloween.
Happy Halloween ! |
