Hot Stuff in Cape Town

The Pepper Club in Cape Town has been billed and advertised as the hottest new property address in this city; it is now scheduled for opening in February next year, in plenty of time for the 2010 FIFA World Cup which kicks off in South Africa on 11^th June. Reed Family Linens have been selected as a listed supplier of best quality bed linens for the penthouse suites at the Pepper Club, and also for linen & cotton table linen for the gourmet restaurant and Beach Club dining areas.

Packaging: Past & Present

Those of you who are older will remember the traditional ‘long’ packages of flat sheets sold in the linen departments of London’s departmental stores twenty years ago. The idea behind these packages was that you should rotate the two sheets using them as top and bottom alternately to ensure long lasting wear. These are now available again with colour coded thread count ribbons as in the past.

1001 Nights in 1000 TC

In response to the seemingly inexorable rise in demand for ever higher thread count bed linens, Reed Family Linens have recently launched their own 1000 thread count sheeting construction. This high density true single yarn cloth is aimed at the luxury hotel market where high specification is the benchmark of seven star comfort. Chinese New Year

Discussions with our Chinese partners are continuing and we are confident that agreement for the opening of two dedicated Reed Family Linens outlets in Shanghai and Beijing will be concluded soon.
